Android app over WiFi and Local phone number or Call back from local number
Please make an android app that lets users make and receive phone calls from any phone/internet connection permitted by the device: Wi-Fi, 3G, by calling a local phone number or being called back... nd of course if one conversation could be switched from different connections and device without interruption.
Also it would be great if this service were available not only from the US but also from Canada, México, and Europe, with the possiblity to have several phone numbers from these countries linked to one same account.

universal mobile phone app. for any WiFi-enabled device. For example, get rid of AT&T iPhone contract: use iPodTouch with MiFi personal WiFi hotspot! or any similar 3+G BB WiFi device with WiFi-enabled phone/PDA/tablet.

An Android app. Period.
An Android app ala the iPhone that would at least let one listen to voicemails, etc. would be great. Don't even need the VoIP at this point.

two things that chapped my ass within the first 10 minutes of starting Ribbit:
1) Passwords must be between 6 and 10 characters long? WTF is that about? the upper limit on a password should be 128 chars or something crazy big. 10 chars means I can't use my typical algo for creating a password. Arbitrary, silly, and less secure. Sort of the trifecta for being an annoying app.
2) what's the Ribbit twitter strategy? I got followed by @ribbitbot but the bot protects its streams? open that bot up and share a little. otherwise it feels like I am being stalked by the producer of a product which I am not sure I like yet.
