Android app over WiFi and Local phone number or Call back from local number
Please make an android app that lets users make and receive phone calls from any phone/internet connection permitted by the device: Wi-Fi, 3G, by calling a local phone number or being called back... nd of course if one conversation could be switched from different connections and device without interruption. Also it would be great if this service were available not only from the US but also from Canada, México, and Europe, with the possiblity to have several phone numbers from these countries linked to one same account.

Transfer call from land line to mobile phone
I know some communication products offer this at a company telephony level, but I would like this at a personal level. I am often on a call and need to make my way to another location/call and would like to be able to transfer my call from my land line phone to my mobile phone.

Transcribe voicemail spoken in chinese to text
If Ribbit's voice recognition engine can transcribe voice message in mandarine to text in chinese, that will be a great incentive for madrine(chinese) speaking people to sigh up Ribbit mobile service. Any plan for support chinese language to transcription?

New Zealand is a wonderful country and there are heaps of tourists(UK, US) down here using local SIM cards. besides that NZ is a very geeky country and it would put ribbit lightyears ahead of google voice if it would be available down here.

Transcription: Assume first name is user's
Ribbit transcription (non-automated) never gets my name right: this makes it far from a personal service. In most messages the first name given will be the user's, for instance 'Hello, Nico...'. With a bit of AI, for instance looking for a salutation such as 'Hello', it should be relatively easy to determine when the user's name is used.

Ribbit / Wave to make access to Live Meetings and
Conferences to all small business who cant afford even the smallest video conferences apps. Like Live Meetings, Broadcasting over a medium speed DSL line that is typical speeds in USA for DSL. bandwidth would be the limitation possibly Like Gotomeeting and other successful sites. I need that type of thing pretty soon but paying developers so much to get a website done makes it extremely hard for startups to get that too done.

Plans and Pricing
Ribbit free beta is great, and I expect to have to pay for premium features down the road. But what I see doesn't make sense, at least to me. My voicemail usage will be light, I can do w/o "business grade" transcriptions, I don't need a Ribbit number per se. However, I would like to have three activated phones: my iPhone, BlackBerry and landline phone. But $30/month for this? Geez Louise. I would suggest $5/month, $45/annual, for a multi-phone plan with no frills, perhaps with a cap on monthly voicemail transcriptions.

Mobile transcription
I'm mainly interested in mobile/portable transcription. In other words if I'm working on a book, article, memo or report, i'd like to be able to talk into my phone at any time to dictate a few paragraphs, a few pages or maybe a whole chapter -- wherever I am and whenever the thoughts come to me. This seems to me the holy grail of portability and convenience for writers everywhere. Getting ideas from thought to text -- quickly conveniently and accurately is the bain of the writer especially those of us who have marginal typing skills. Lots of professions also have this requirement (medical, legal, academic, etc) In addition, the voice recordings could be used as audio, CD MP3 or podcast material.

Transcribe teleconferences
Imagine if Ribbit could transcribe teleconferences, I could send out the minutes of the meetings to the attendees so much quicker.. If it could highlight the text in the transcription as I play the recording of the meeting, that would help me correct the transcription where the engine failed.

Windows Mobile Phone
It would be most appreciated if Ribbit Mobile partnered with Windows Mobile to create a fantastic app that will make both outgoing and incoming calls recorded, organising contacts, routing calls between mobile, landline and voip calls seamlessly. I am mostly mobile and maintain an office at home and my office. I would like to manage all calls and address all queries without my caller realising that I am on the road. I have a Windows Mobile Phone ver6.5 with GPS on Vodafone UK.. Thanks.
